COOLING WATER TREATMENT

WITH FERROKORN®

The products from the FERROKORN® series are used in the areas cooling water, process water, and operating water, to stabilise hardness, facilitate dispersion and prevent corrosion, depending on the problem at hand and the operating conditions.

They are based on especially selected malein polymers, phosphonates and polycarbonates to which various corrosion inhibitors are added, building up sufficient protection whilst keeping the water’s susceptibility to corrosion low.
Taking into consideration the environment and operating costs, this product series provides the perfect form of protection against precipitations of calcium sulphite, barium sulphite, calcium oxalate, and phosphates. Depending on the problem at hand, one of these products, or an especially composed product formula, is used.

The formulas are structured to create a synergy effect between dispersion, threshold effect, and the deformation activity of the malein polymers.

The formulas of this product series are currently classified as water hazard class 2. Disturbances of the degradation activity of the activated sludge of adjusted sewage treatment plants, or interference with the bacterial activities in sewage treatment plants need not be anticipated if concentration levels are observed.
